“Oh, just get over it, you will be fine.”


Do you know how damaging this statement is to your wellbeing?  How often did you buy into this?   While the intention behind may be of caring, without properly addressing the root issues through self-healing and professional therapy; it can cause more harm than good.

Here are more damaging statements:

  • “It is not a big deal.”
  • “It is nothing.”
  • “Everything happens for a reason.”
  • “You’re lucky to be here.”
  • “Just stay positive and look at the bright side.”
  • “Don’t worry, be happy. Everything is fine.”
  • “It’s not that bad.”
  • “It could be worse.”
  • “Just think happy thoughts.”
  • “I’m fine!” (Are you?!)

Let me tell you this. “The more you suppress  emotional issues in your life or  even suppress your past where your trauma and woundings came from, the worse the physical symptoms become.”  

Your subconscious mind will speak in every possible way, including fatigue, depression, anxiety, nightmares, mood swings and hormonal changes.   Read about how 90% of chronic illnesses are rooted in emotional issues. 

Suppressed issues will also show up in your business relationships, personal relationships and friendships.  In my own experiences,  It did show up in all other areas of my life (career, money, health, etc) which made me decide to seek professional therapy.

Addressing only the symptoms of your problems and not the root/original cause will only make you attract circumstances and similar personalities that will trigger your deepest emotions.  Heard of unhealthy, unhelpful and toxic patterns?  

You can start healing by acknowledging that there is a problem instead of denying it. 

Take responsibility of your own life. You can recover from your  traumas. You can become empowered and in control again.

You can feel safe and connected, only if you take action.
